Notities:
Joanna (Eernisse) Gunnink was born December 19, 1893 to Abram and Trinkie (Leutscher) Eernisse near Leota, Minnesota. On February 26, 1914 she was united in marriage to Jurry Gunnink. They farmed in the Leota and Chandler area. Jurry passed away on October 3, 1953.
In 1968 Joanna moved to Grand Rapids, Michigan where she lived with her daughter Katie until she entered the Fulton Rest Home there.
She is survived by two daughters, Katie and Fannie (Mrs. Nelson Post), both of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Four sons: John of Chandler, MN; Abram of Grand Rapids, MI; Jerrien of Manhattan, MT; and Raymond of Fremont, CA, 19 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.
Her husband, one son Rudolph, one sister and one brother preceded her in death.
